I would say this year is the last year of me being a youth. This year, I turn twenty fucking two. This year, I graduate from college and will be stepping into the real world soon. This year, I'm officially on my way to becoming a Lady. Okay okay, damn kua zhang I know. I've always been a firm believer of gender equality and that whatever men can do, women can too. A woman should be strong and independent. We should always learn to pamper and love ourselves. And here, I have a top 5 list of things/stuff/whatever you call it that every lady should have, in my opinion that is. Or maybe....... they are just a list of things/stuff/whatever you call it I would love to have HAHAHAHAH
In no special order,
1. A good pair of shoes

This is so damn fucking true. One of the most beautiful thing about women is the way they walk and a good pair of shoes will definitely aid in your walking and make you feel like you're the prettiest woman in the world hahaha okay i'm just exaggerating HAHAHA
2. Car
Your car says a lot about you, so please choose your car wisely. I always guess someone's personality through the cars they drive (just for fun). Not really 100% foolproof but I will say I'm usually 70% to 80% right? Hehe
3. A Good Watch
Watches are seen as a luxury item in Switzerland and they are also a form of status. Watches are so finely crafted that the masters go through years and years of training to make watches. Generations of families make watches for a living. With our smartphones, we don't really need a watch now. But wearing a watch often show that you are a punctual person and we all can agree that it is a nice accessory to layer with your bracelets etc.
4. An Apartment
Whether you single or married, everyone needs to own their own house. I remember my psychology professor once said "Everyone needs their own nest, home is where the heart is. Without a home, your heart can't settle and there will always been something missing." She gave an example about her friend who recently just went through a divorce. Her friend has been renting different houses for years and she's been feeling unhappy and uneasy. What advice did my prof gave her? Go get a house. A proper house. And guess what, her friend was so thankful that she heed her advice! Everyone wants a comfy place to relax in after a day-long work. We all need a space of our own. This is why my first aim after I start working is to save up for a property. I don't care how long it's gonna take or if I may get married or whatsoever, I want my own house. I'm gonna choose every tile used in the house, pick every utensils and kitchen appliances, pick the textile for the curtains etc etc. A place that I can say "it's mine."
5. A loving, supporting family.
No man is an island.
Having a family that loves you and supports whatever you do is the most important out of everything else. Honestly without TLC from your family, 1 to 4 won't make any sense. There will be no one for you to share your joy with, no one to be there for you when you fall, no one to cheer you up when you're down... I'm a very family-oriented person. Even though I quarrel with my parents, screams at my sisters, orders my brother to do things all the time, deep in my heart I love them so damn fucking much that I can't imagine losing anyone of them.
I don't know what's the point of this entry but it was just something I feel that I should write down. I guess is to remind myself not to be blinded by these luxury items and take a step back and appreciate whatever I have now. I maybe materialistic and love brands to bits, I did not lose myself or spend beyond my limit. I love my bags, shoes, clothes, jewelry, cars, bearbricks and rilakkuma. People may think that they're useless but they are of upmost value to me.
