So on the 15th of August, Jesslyn & Leon came to pick me at my place to the airport. Met Leah there as she was sending her other friend off too. My 2nd time flying with Asiana Airlines and their flight always end up delaying for about 1 hour? My flight was scheduled to fly at 330am (originally 230am) and it only flew around 350am? Was so so tired.

Thanks for staying with me till 230am when yall knew that my flight got delayed. Especially Leon who's so sick but yet stayed and also Leah who was all ready to skip school. Love yall, don't think I can find anyone else like yall already. SO MUSHY RIGHT!!!
Touched down around 11am KST. Flying alone feels great actually, not as scary as I thought. Maybe because it's Seoul? This is my 5th time in Seoul btw hahaha. Collected my phone from SK Telecom. Rented an iPhone 4 and if you reserve your phone online, you get a 50% off daily rate. Pretty worth it I must say :) Since Celine had so much problem finding the guesthouse, I decided that I should just book an International Taxi to get to 2NVille.
It was a slightly less than an hour car ride from Incheon Airport. The taxi driver was so friendly and started talking to me in Korean after I said I've learnt Korean for a year now. He says practice is really important. Hahahah :)
Arrived at 2NVille and the owners were really friendly :) Waited around 10 minutes for my room and because they have no lifts, the owner actually help me carry my 15kg luggage up 4 storey! Room is clean and cosy. I paid 73,000won/night (Peak period and my room is supposedly for 2).
Left the guesthouse at around 145pm? Was supposed to meet Celine at Hongdae Station Exit 9 but I GOT LOST. Called Celine and she was giving me instructions over the phone and I manage to find my way hahaha. Okay it will take a little bit more time to get to the station for the very first time. The owner said it's about a 10min walk. But for me, it's about 15-20mins HAHAHA but once you know the way, it's really easy to get to the subway station.
We headed to Yeolbong (열봉찜닭). Se7en's the owner of Yeolbong btw. I had Yeolbong last year during March and I missed it so so much. Finally having it again after one year ++++. The Hongdae outlet is really small... About half the size of the Gangnam Outlet?
We ordered half a chicken with a bowl of rice. Total bill amount up to 20,000won for the both of us. We were so so full!
We decided to shop around the Hongdae area AND LOOK WHAT WE SAW!
G-dragon's Mural!! Heard it's a project by his fans for his solo? Btw hahaha Celine was saying she don't really hear shops playing BB songs but today almost every shop we went to were all playing BB songs. HAHAHA it's as though BIGBANG is welcoming me to Seoul, again.
After some shopping we were too tired to move. Accompanied Celine back to her dorm to slack. The weather is just too unbearable omg i'm never going to Seoul during summer again hahaha got the cheese ddeokbokki that Celine was raving about. IT'S SO SO GOOD OMG I WANT IT RIGHT NOW. So we decided to nua around and then went for dinner at around 7pm. Had dinner at the same cafe. Ordered Tuna Kimchi Fried Rice and Mandu (Dumpling) Ramen. Serving was pretty huge, had problem finishing them. Total bill was only 7,500won with side dishes and free flow iced water!!
My 10,000won shades and 2,000won hairband!!!

Celine was too lazy to send me back to the subway. So I had to take the bus on my own. IT WAS SO SCARY OKAY. Like I'm never good with buses and I can't remember when was the last time I took a bus/public transport. Subways are fine because they're so easy but buses...? Okay the moment I got on the bus, I embarrassed myself by tapping at the wrong machine. I seriously hope no one saw :( But anwwww so proud of myself. Managed to get down at the right stop and didnt get lost when I walk back to the guesthouse. HAHAHA BUT OMG AFTER ALL THE WALKING I FINALLY GOT WHAT PEOPLE MEAN BY 汗流浃背. Grabbed some water/snacks from the 7-11 before I came back to the guesthouse. Took me approximately an hour to get back.
A pretty cafe I saw while walking back. There're soooo many nice, pretty, quaint cafes in Seoul!!
So I guess that's it for Day 1. I will be back with Day 2 tmrw ^^ It's 12:56am and I need to catch up on some sleep. Another full day tmrw! Heading to the Rilakkuma Cafe YAYS.
